Position: QA Engineer
Location: Chandigarh
Ventla is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. As a QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. We are looking for a dedicated individual with at least 2 years of experience in software testing and a strong understanding of quality assurance principles. Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests and analyze test results to ensure the quality and functionality of our software products.
- Review software requirements and collaborate with the development team to understand the project goals and objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive test case scenarios based on software requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure that testing activities are aligned with project timelines and milestones.
- Execute all levels of testing, including functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies using appropriate bug tracking tools.
- Run test cases and provide timely and effective solutions to identified issues.
- Apply quality software engineering principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
- Provide support and documentation to assist in troubleshooting and resolving software issues.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices.
- Experience in reviewing software requirements and preparing comprehensive test case scenarios.
- Proficient in executing various types of testing, including functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and experience in tracking and managing software defects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve software issues.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
