Position: QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and support teams, to understand product requirements and define testing strategies.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of networking and security products.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks using Python.
- Conduct security testing and vulnerability assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities in the software.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, providing detailed information for efficient resolutions.
- Document and track identified issues using appropriate tools and methodologies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Participate in agile development processes, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing and networking.
Requirements:
- 4 to 8 years of experience in Networking or Security domains.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Python automation.
- Familiarity with security and networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Proficiency in functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Solid understanding of security testing methodologies and vulnerability assessments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
