Position: QA Engineer

Location: Noida/Gurgaon, India

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute manual test cases and test scenarios to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
• Perform both manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications.
• Conduct API testing to ensure the smooth integration and functioning of APIs.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements, features, and specifications.
• Identify, document, and report software defects and issues found during the testing process, ensuring accurate and detailed bug reports.
• Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of software applications after changes or enhancements.
• Participate in test plan and test case creation, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform functional, system, and integration testing to ensure the software meets the desired quality standards.
• Validate data integrity and accuracy by conducting data validation and verification tests.
• Conduct usability and user acceptance testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on testing requirements and objectives.
• Assist in the continuous improvement of the testing process by providing feedback and suggestions for enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in software testing methodologies and tools.
• Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on software quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of manual and automation testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
• Experience in both web and mobile app testing.
• Knowledge of API testing and understanding of RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with test case management tools and bug tracking systems.
• Experience in creating and executing test cases and test scripts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate defects and issues to the development team.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• ISTQB certification or any relevant testing certification is a plus.
