Position: QA Engineer
Location: Noida
IBossTech, a leading technology company, is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated QA Engineer to join our team in Noida. As a QA Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web, API, and desktop applications through thorough testing and analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform end-to-end testing for web, API, and desktop applications to validate their functionality and performance.
- Conduct manual testing to identify defects and ensure adherence to project requirements.
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of SQL to perform database testing, ensuring data integrity and accurate functionality.
- Perform API testing, including testing RestAPIs and SoapAPIs, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Apply analytical skills to analyze test results, identify issues, and provide clear and concise reports.
- Publish execution reports to stakeholders, highlighting test coverage, results, and any deviations from expected outcomes.
- Execute regression and smoke tests to ensure the stability and integrity of the applications across iterations.
- Proactively raise QA concerns and questions regarding business requirements to ensure clarity and alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing, and actively contribute to process improvements.
- Good communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the IT industry.
- Strong proficiency in manual testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- In-depth knowledge of SQL for performing database testing and validating data integrity.
- Experience in API testing, including RestAPIs and SoapAPIs.
- Excellent analytical skills to analyze test results and identify potential issues.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Good to have skills in automation testing using tools like Selenium, JMeter, Katalon Studio, and security testing.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
