Position: QA Engineer
Location: Sector-62, Noida
BinaryMetrix Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated QA Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual testing, bug finding, reporting, and defect tracking. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with 1-2 years of experience in QA who possess strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to identify and report bugs and defects.
- Work closely with the development team to understand software requirements and assist in rectifying bugs and issues.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to ensure the quality and stability of the software.
- Utilize defect tracking systems to document and track issues, ensuring their resolution within the specified timeframe.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure the overall integrity of the software.
- Continuously improve QA processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing procedures.
- Communicate test results, progress, and any potential risks to relevant stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Collaborate with the development team to enhance the overall software quality through proactive feedback and suggestions.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in manual testing and quality assurance of software applications.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, bug finding, and defect tracking.
- Attention to detail and the ability to identify, document, and communicate bugs effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and issues.
- Proficiency in using defect tracking systems and tools.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the role of QA within it.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
