Position: QA Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automation testing for ETL solutions, warehouse-based data platforms, and APIs.
- Test cloud platforms, with a preference for experience in AWS.
- Design and develop efficient test cases and execute them using JIRA.
- Extend and modify Automation Frameworks using programming languages such as Java.
- Utilize SQL for data testing and validation.
- Work with tools such as Jira and Confluence for defect logging and reporting.
- Accurately log defects and escalate issues and risks.
- Assess severity of issues and demonstrate good judgment.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 4-6 years of proven QA experience in manual, automation, and ETL testing.
- Strong experience in testing ETL solutions, warehouse-based data platforms, and APIs.
- Testing experience on cloud platforms, with a preference for AWS.
- Proficiency in a programming language for Automation Framework, preferably Java.
- Ability to extend and modify Automation Frameworks for APIs as needed.
- Design and develop test cases efficiently and report them in JIRA.
- Hands-on experience with SQL.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Accurate defect logging and escalation skills.
- Strong judgment in assessing severity of issues.
- Excellent communication and articulation skills.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Good domain understanding of HR systems.
- Exposure to “Workday” or any SaaS-based HR product.
- Experience testing Cloud products.
Additional Details:
- Experience: 3 to 6 years.
- Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days.
