Position: QA Engineer
Location: Noida
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer to join our team in Noida. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our games and applications through thorough testing and bug tracking. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of testing methodologies, be proficient in executing test plans, and possess strong attention to detail. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in QA to contribute to the success of our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize standard testing methodologies to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including system, regression, performance, and stress testing.
- Create test plans specifically tailored for our games, and develop manual test cases and scripts to ensure the proper functioning of our products on a variety of devices.
- Document defects discovered during testing using a bug-tracking system, providing detailed information for developers to rectify the issues.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to ensure effective communication and resolution of defects, providing clear steps to reproduce issues, along with supporting videos or screenshots when necessary.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the iOS and Android gaming industry to effectively test and identify potential issues.
- Work in adherence to Agile development methodologies, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other related activities.
- Perform web and mobile app testing to ensure compatibility, responsiveness, and overall functionality.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of iOS and Android games and apps, understanding the unique challenges and requirements associated with testing them.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, and experience working in an Agile team.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies and tools, including test planning, test case creation, and defect tracking.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
- Exceptional attention to detail and patience for repetitive work, ensuring thorough and accurate testing.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a QA role, preferably in the gaming industry.
- Salary: Up to 8 LPA.
