Position: QA Associate
Location: Gurugram, Delhi
Job Responsibilities: As a QA Associate at our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our interactive deliverables. You will collaborate with other QA staff to perform daily QA tasks with a focus on maintaining a high level of quality assurance. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment will be essential to your success in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Testing functionality and reviewing visual elements of small- and large-scale interactive deliverables.
- Documenting and facilitating communication and troubleshooting of issues, bugs, and changes.
- Validating and closing out all issues prior to client delivery.
- Collaborating with other QA staff to accomplish daily QA tasks on-time and with high quality.
- Developing processes to ensure the highest level of quality assurance possible.
- Investigating procedures, workflows, and software to keep processes up to date.
- Assisting with internal project kickoffs and requirements/specs gathering.
- Demonstrating the ability to creatively and proactively solve problems.
- Experience working on web-based interactive projects and mobile apps.
- Being a team player and effectively managing multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
- Maintaining a high level of organization and keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrating proven written and verbal communication skills.
Job Qualifications:
- Certification: ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) certification.
- Desired exposure: Manual testing.
- Tools: Proficiency in using bug tracking tools such as Mantis, JIRA, and Bugzilla.
- Additional skills: Familiarity with SQL for database level verification and Photoshop for design verification.
- Exposure to Project Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile (SCRUM) and Waterfall methodologies.
