Position: QA Analyst Experience: 1+2 Years
Job Description: As a QA Analyst at PTC, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive testing and quality assurance practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, develop test plans, and execute test cases. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of our software products.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools, ensuring their resolution and performing regression testing as necessary.
- Conduct thorough exploratory testing to uncover hidden defects and ensure the overall quality of the software.
- Collaborate with the development team to reproduce and debug issues, providing detailed information for root cause analysis.
- Monitor and analyze test results, identify patterns, and provide recommendations for process improvements and product enhancements.
- Document test results, test logs, and other relevant documentation to ensure traceability and facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in software testing to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- 1+2 years of experience as a QA Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, concepts, and best practices.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios.
- Familiarity with defect tracking tools and the ability to document and track software defects effectively.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Basic programming skills or scripting knowledge is an advantage.
