Position: Performance Tester
Location: Pune
e-Zest Solutions is a leading technology company, and we are currently seeking a skilled Performance Tester to join our team in Pune. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in performance testing and possess strong skills in performance scripting, test scenario design, and result analysis. Proficiency in performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, K6, WebLoad, and monitoring tools like NewRelic, DynaTrace, and AppDynamics is essential. Responsibilities:
- Execute performance testing projects from requirement gathering and NFR collection to final performance test reporting.
- Design performance test scenarios for executing load tests, including load, endurance, and stress tests.
- Utilize performance testing tools such as Apache JMeter, K6, WebLoad, or any other performance tools for scripting and executing performance tests.
- Use monitoring tools such as NewRelic, DynaTrace, and AppDynamics to monitor application performance during load testing.
- Work with Web (Http/HTML) and web services protocols for performance testing.
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and performance issues.
- Provide recommendations for performance improvements based on the analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement performance optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting/programming language (C, JavaScript, Java, Python, etc.) for test scripting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather performance requirements and define NFRs (non-functional requirements).
- Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in performance testing methodologies and tools.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in performance testing.
- Ability to execute performance testing projects from requirement gathering/NFR collection to final performance test reporting.
- Strong ability to design performance test scenarios for load, endurance, and stress tests.
- Proficiency in performance scripting using tools like Apache JMeter, K6, WebLoad, or any other performance tools.
- Experience in using monitoring tools such as NewRelic, DynaTrace, AppDynamics, etc.
- Familiarity with Web (Http/HTML) and web services protocols for performance testing.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Familiarity with at least one scripting/programming language (C, JavaScript, Java, Python, etc.).
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science or a related field.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
