Job Overview: As a Mobile App Tester at CQLsys Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and usability of mobile applications developed by the company. You will collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and project managers to perform manual testing, identify defects, and contribute to the overall enhancement of our software products. This role provides the opportunity to work on exciting projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of our mobile applications.

- Test Planning and Case Creation:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Create detailed and well-structured test cases to verify the functionality and usability of mobile applications.
- Manual Testing Execution:
- Execute manual test cases across various mobile platforms (iOS and Android) to identify defects and ensure application functionality.
- Perform thorough testing of user interfaces, functional scenarios, and edge cases.
- Defect Identification and Reporting:
- Identify, document, and report software defects and issues using established defect tracking tools.
- Communicate defects clearly to development teams, including necessary information for resolution.
- Usability and User Experience Testing:
- Evaluate the user experience and usability of mobile applications to ensure a seamless and intuitive user interface.
- Provide feedback on user interface design and functionality improvements.
- Regression Testing:
- Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure that no new defects are introduced.
- Collaborate with development teams to validate the resolution of reported defects.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project requirements and testing objectives.
- Provide clear and concise communication regarding testing outcomes and progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 1.5 years to 4 years of experience in mobile application testing (manual).
- Solid understanding of mobile application testing methodologies, best practices, and usability principles.
- Proficiency in testing mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- ISTQB or similar software testing certification is a plus.
