Position: Mid-Level Manual Tester
Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing: Conduct thorough manual testing of software products to identify defects, bugs, and areas for improvement.
- Test Case Development: Create and execute test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the project team to define test objectives, strategies, and plans based on project requirements.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, record test results, and document defects using bug tracking tools for effective communication with the development team.
- Mobile Testing: Utilize BrowserStack to perform mobile testing and ensure compatibility and functionality across different mobile devices and platforms.
- Software Product Testing: If you have prior experience in testing software products, you will have the opportunity to apply your skills and expertise in this area.
- Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test scripts, test data, and test reports.
- Defect Management: Monitor and manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure the stability and integrity of software applications after code changes or enhancements.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Test Process Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies and processes, actively participating in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manual Tester in a software development environment.
- Preferred Experience: 2 years of experience in Mobile Testing using BrowserStack.
- Test Case Development: Proven experience in creating and executing test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of requirements.
- Test Execution: Proficiency in executing test cases, recording test results, and documenting defects using bug tracking tools.
- Mobile Testing Skills: Familiarity with mobile testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, particularly using BrowserStack.
- Software Product Testing (Preferred): If you have prior experience in testing software products, it will be a plus.
- Test Documentation: Experience in preparing and maintaining test artifacts, including test plans, test scripts, and test reports.
- Defect Management: Familiarity with defect management processes, including defect tracking, monitoring, and resolution.
- Regression Testing: Knowledge of regression testing techniques and experience in conducting regression testing.
- Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Test Process Improvement: Willingness to contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies and processes.
