Position: QA Lead
Location: Gurgaon (Sector-44)
Job Summary: We have an urgent opening for a QA Lead in the Education Management industry. As a QA Lead, you will be responsible for leading the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard QA processes and practice methodologies for the Backend, Web, APP Tech Team, Product Team, and other stakeholders. You will work closely with the tech and product teams to develop quality standards, including test automation, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, and performance testing. This role requires hands-on experience in test automation, test scenario development, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the definition, implementation, and maintenance of standard QA processes and practice methodologies.
- Collaborate with the tech and product teams to develop quality standards for test automation, unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, and performance testing.
- Develop test automation frameworks and associated tooling for the project.
- Understand testing requirements from project leads and lead the creation and execution of test automation.
- Develop test scenarios and test cases based on requirements.
- Establish deterministic test execution measurement baselines.
- Develop test data repositories to support test data management frameworks.
- Analyze potential issues and perform root cause analysis, assigning issues to be resolved.
- Follow up with tech team members to ensure fixes are completed.
- Review bug descriptions, functional requirements, and design documents, incorporating them into test plans and test cases.
- Lead and manage a team of QA Engineers, Senior QA Engineers, and QA Leads.
- Train the QA team on best practices of automation, performance testing, load testing, and domain knowledge.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in defining and operationalizing test automation strategy and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
- Hands-on test automation experience in a professional software development environment.
- Experience in performance testing of Backend using JMeter.
- Solid understanding of test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery.
- Experience in web automation testing.
- Experience in backend and API testing.
- Experience in both automation and manual testing.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and proven leadership skills.
- Ability to lead multiple test paths simultaneously.
