QA Engineer – Manual | FULL-TIME BENGALURU

We are looking for a QA Tester to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches.

In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. If you are also competent in executing test cases and are passionate about quality, we’d like to meet you.

Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure that the software meets quality standards
• Understanding and analyzing software requirements
• Test strategy implementation
• Test plan documentation
• Traceability metrics document preparation
• Defining test environment/test lab setup
• Evaluating exit criteria
• Preparing test summary report

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business computer, Information Technology, Computer Science or any related field.
• Proven working experience in Manual Testing Process for a minimum of 2-3 years
• Write test scripts based on test plans covering all phases of testing.
• Review test plans and test cases with the QA Lead and/or Business Analyst
• Execute functional, Integration and regression test cases.
• Identify and record Defects.
• Experience in hybrid and mobile apps on iOS, iPad and Android devices.
• Validation using simulators and emulators and also with real-time devices.
• Having sound knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proficient in writing test cases and test scenarios.
• Experience in testing web and client-server applications.
• Thorough hands-on experience with all levels of testing including Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and Ad Hoc testing.
• Good experience in analysing changes and identifying areas of the application to be regression-tested
