Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation Testing: Leverage your expertise in Automation Testing, utilizing tools like Java Selenium, to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts that enhance the efficiency and accuracy of our testing processes.
  • API Testing: Apply your proficiency in API testing to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of our software’s APIs, enhancing the overall user experience.
  • Version Control and Collaboration: Utilize your familiarity with version control systems like GIT to collaborate effectively with the development team, ensuring seamless integration of testing processes within the software development lifecycle.
  • Issue Tracking: Employ your experience with issue tracking systems such as JIRA to document, manage, and monitor defects, contributing to their resolution and preventing their recurrence.
  • Continuous Integration: Utilize Jenkins, a Continuous Integration tool, to automate the build, deployment, and testing processes, streamlining the development workflow and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Test Case Preparation and Execution: Demonstrate efficiency in preparing comprehensive test cases and executing them to thoroughly evaluate the software’s functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • QA Process Knowledge: Apply your strong understanding of basic Quality Assurance processes, including the release process, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect management, and test reporting, to ensure the highest quality standards.
  • Automation Skills: Showcase your experience with Automation frameworks like TestNG, enhancing the robustness and scalability of automated test suites.
  • Agile Methodologies: Draw on your understanding and experience with Agile methodologies to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, contribute to sprint planning, and provide valuable insights during retrospectives.
  • Database and SQL Skills: Utilize your strong Database and SQL skills to verify data accuracy and integrity, ensuring the software’s proper interaction with the underlying databases.
  • Salesforce Testing (Desirable): If applicable, leverage your knowledge of Salesforce Testing to ensure the seamless integration and functionality of Salesforce components within the software.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Automation Testing using Java Selenium, API testing, and TestNG.
  • Strong familiarity with version control systems like GIT and issue tracking systems like JIRA.
  • Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins.
  • Sound understanding of basic Quality Assurance processes, including the release process, STLC, defect management, and test reporting.
  • Efficiency in test case preparation, execution, and defect documentation.
  • Familiarity with Agile Methodologies, contributing to iterative development cycles and effective collaboration.
  • Strong Database and SQL skills for data validation and interaction.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce Testing is a plus.
