Position: Manual Software QA Engineer
Location: Ahmedabad, India
Ajmera Infotech Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manual Software QA Engineer to join our team in Ahmedabad. As a Manual QA Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through meticulous testing and quality assurance practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, design test plans, execute test cases, and report defects. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand software requirements and design effective test strategies.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure the overall quality of software releases.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and verify fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to troubleshoot and reproduce issues, providing detailed bug reports.
- Participate in the design and execution of test scenarios to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Utilize test management tools to organize and track testing activities, test results, and project progress.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment.
- Adhere to project timelines and deliver high-quality results within specified deadlines.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Test Engineer or in a similar role, with 4-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Experience with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
- Solid knowledge of functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
