Position: Manual Testing Engineer

Location: Overseas (Opportunity to work in client location)
Soft Suave Technologies, a leading global IT solutions provider, is currently seeking experienced Manual Testing Engineers to join our dynamic team. With a strong focus on delivering high-quality software solutions, we are looking for individuals with a solid background in manual testing and a passion for ensuring the reliability and functionality of our client’s applications. This is an excellent opportunity to work overseas at our client location.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing activities to validate software applications against specified requirements and design documents.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.
- Execute test cases and report defects using bug tracking tools, ensuring clear and detailed documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand system requirements and testing objectives.
- Conduct functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure the quality and stability of software applications.
- Participate in the review and analysis of requirements, specifications, and user stories to provide feedback and ensure testability.
- Identify, isolate, and track defects throughout the testing lifecycle and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide accurate and timely test status reports and communicate test progress, results, and risks to stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing processes and techniques.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual Testing Engineer, with a minimum of 6 to 15 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing techniques, and test automation.
- Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA or Bugzilla.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, isolate, and track defects effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to work overseas at the client location.
