Position: Manual Testing Engineer
Soft Suave Technologies is a leading IT services and solutions provider, specializing in software development, quality assurance, and digital transformation. We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Manual Testing Engineers to join our team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of software applications to ensure their functionality, usability, and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
- Execute test cases and record test results to identify and report defects, bugs, and inconsistencies in the software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project objectives and requirements.
- Participate in test strategy discussions and contribute to the overall test planning and execution process.
- Perform thorough regression testing to ensure the stability and reliability of software applications after changes or enhancements.
- Provide accurate and timely status reports on test progress, defects, and overall project status to project stakeholders.
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and quality.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in manual testing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Manual Testing Engineer, with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Experience in executing test cases and recording defects using defect tracking tools.
- Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
- Relevant certifications, such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CTFL, are highly desirable.
