Position: Manual Tester

Location: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi

KPMG, a global leader in audit, tax, and advisory services, is actively seeking skilled Manual Testers to join our team. We are specifically looking for individuals with a strong understanding of auditing concepts and previous experience working on audit projects. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual testing activities to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications used in auditing processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the audit team to understand project objectives, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Design and develop test cases, test plans, and test scripts based on project specifications and requirements.
  • Execute manual tests to identify software defects, document test results, and track defects through resolution.
  • Participate in project meetings to provide valuable input from a testing perspective and contribute to project planning and decision-making.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that software changes and enhancements do not impact existing functionalities.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to reproduce and analyze reported defects, providing detailed bug reports and recommendations for resolution.
  • Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and advancements in manual testing techniques.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, processes, and procedures throughout the testing lifecycle.

Requirements:

  • 2 to 4 years of experience as a Manual Tester, preferably with experience in audit projects.
  • Strong understanding of auditing concepts and processes is mandatory.
  • Experience working on audit-related software applications or projects.
  • Proficiency in manual testing methodologies, techniques, and processes.
  • Good knowledge of test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including auditors, developers, and project stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing or auditing will be a plus.
