Position: Manual Tester Company: Infosys
Location: Pune, India
Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing: Perform comprehensive manual testing of software applications to identify bugs, defects, and areas for improvement.
- Linux: Work with Linux operating system for testing purposes.
- SQL: Utilize SQL for database testing and data validation.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and resolve any issues.
- Test Planning: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and define test objectives, strategies, and plans.
- Test Execution: Execute test cases, document test results, and track defects using bug tracking tools for effective communication with the development team.
- Test Documentation: Prepare and maintain test artifacts, including test plans, test reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure effective communication and seamless software delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of testing methodologies and practices, actively participating in process improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Manual Tester in a software development environment is required.
- Technical Skills: a. Strong knowledge of manual testing methodologies, concepts, and best practices. b. Experience working with Linux operating system. c. Proficiency in SQL for database testing.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
- Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with Infosys.
- Location: The position is based in Pune.
