Position: Manual Tester
Crowd4Test is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Manual Tester with expertise in embedded system/software and SW-HW interactions. This position requires immediate availability, and the selected candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our clients’ software products. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough manual testing of software products, with a focus on embedded systems.
- Verify and validate SW-HW interactions to ensure smooth functionality.
- Identify and document software defects, anomalies, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to analyze and resolve identified issues.
- Participate in test planning and test case development activities.
- Execute test cases and report test results accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in creating and maintaining test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and timely delivery.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in manual testing and embedded systems.
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing, specifically in the context of embedded system/software.
- Expertise in SW-HW interactions and understanding their impact on software functionality.
- Familiarity with testing embedded systems in real-time environments.
- Proficient in identifying and documenting software defects and performance issues.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Understanding of agile methodologies and software development lifecycles.
- Experience with test case management and execution.
- Knowledge of scripting languages or automation tools is a plus.
