Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to ensure quality and reliability.
- Develop and execute test cases and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Identify and report defects, and track their resolution using defect tracking tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand project requirements and ensure proper testing coverage.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to verify the accuracy and functionality of software applications.
- Participate in test plan and test strategy discussions to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Provide timely and accurate status updates on testing progress and issues.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and processes.
- Proficiency in writing and executing test cases and test scripts.
- Experience with defect tracking tools to log and manage defects.
- Solid understanding of functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
