- Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
- Execute manual tests to identify defects and ensure that the software meets quality standards.
- Report and document defects using the designated bug-tracking tool.
- Participate in test case reviews, requirement analysis, and test strategy discussions.
- Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure that new features do not adversely impact existing functionality.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and provide valuable feedback to improve the software’s overall quality.
- Ensure that testing activities are carried out in accordance with the established processes and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
- Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools to report and manage defects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meticulously follow testing procedures.
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of automated testing tools is a plus but not mandatory.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications are a bonus.
