Position: Manual Tester
Location: Mumbai (Work from office)
Notice Period: Immediate
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project specifications and functional requirements.
- Document test results, defects, and issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Participate in defect triage meetings, providing input and recommendations for issue resolution.
- Perform regression testing to ensure the stability of the application after bug fixes and enhancements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and coordination of testing activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in manual testing techniques and tools.
Required Skills:
- 2.5 – 6 years of relevant experience in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge and experience in manual testing techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience working in the banking domain, with a good understanding of banking processes and systems.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications in software testing is a plus.
