Role and Responsibilities:

As a Manual Test Engineer at Qualitrix, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, functionality, and performance of software applications. You will be part of a collaborative team, utilizing your expertise in Agile methodologies, SDLC & STLC, and mobile application testing to drive the success of our testing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment (Scrum/KanBan) to develop and execute effective test strategies.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Conduct rigorous testing of Android and iOS mobile applications, identifying defects and ensuring optimal user experiences.
Utilize Android SDK (adb commands) and XCode tools for debugging logs and crashes.
Possess a clear understanding of the Android and iOS App build process to ensure accurate testing.
Troubleshoot client and server issues to enhance the quality of software products.
Prepare test cases and use cases for various features, incorporating manual and automation testing methodologies.
Utilize strong technical and analytical skills to comprehend complex systems and design thorough test plans.
Perform Restful API testing using tools such as Postman.
Familiarity with SQL and proficiency in testing against popular databases like MySql and Postgres.
Efficiently work with tools like JIRA and other test management tools to track and report issues.
Gain exposure to functional automation and non-functional testing solutions.

Required Skills:

Hands-on experience in Agile project methodologies (Scrum/KanBan) and test management practices.
Profound understanding of SDLC and STLC, with the ability to effectively incorporate these methodologies into testing strategies.
Proven experience in testing Android and iOS mobile applications.
Familiarity with debugging tools such as Android SDK (adb commands) and XCode tools.
Knowledge of the Android and iOS App build process to ensure effective testing.
Proficiency in troubleshooting client and server-related issues.
Skill in preparing comprehensive test cases and use cases for both manual and automation testing.
