Job Description:

Ignatiuz is seeking a Manual QA Engineer to join our team in Indore. As a Manual QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. If you have 2 to 4 years of experience in manual testing, a strong understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Testing Methodologies: Apply a strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and techniques to plan, execute, and report on software testing activities.
  • Test Case Development: Create clear and concise test cases based on project requirements, user stories, and design specifications.
  • Defect Reporting: Identify and document defects and issues found during testing. Communicate defects effectively and collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Test Management Tools: Utilize test management tools such as JIRA, Jenkins, Asana, and others to plan, track, and manage testing activities.
  • API Testing: Conduct API testing using tools like Postman to verify the functionality and performance of APIs.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively in a team environment, liaising with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and product quality standards.
  • Automation (Plus): Experience with automated testing tools is a plus. Collaborate with automation teams to enhance test coverage.
  • Documentation: Maintain well-organized and up-to-date test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
  • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to the improvement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools. Identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency enhancement.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in manual testing.
  • Testing Tools: Familiarity with test management tools like JIRA, Jenkins, Asana, and API testing tool Postman.
  • Test Case Writing: Ability to write clear and concise test cases and defect reports.
  • Automation (Plus): Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.
