- Demonstrate a deep understanding of testing methodologies, including test planning, test case design, and execution.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to understand software requirements and specifications.
- Leverage your domain knowledge in the insurance sector to create and execute test cases that reflect real-world scenarios.
- Analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements to ensure the validity and feasibility of the testing process.
- Employ effective defect identification and tracking methodologies, ensuring accurate documentation and resolution.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify, document, and track defects to ensure efficient resolution.
- Provide valuable insights and recommendations to improve the overall quality of software products.
- Participate in design reviews, contributing valuable input on requirements, product design, and potential issues.
- Generate detailed test reports, documenting test results, findings, and recommendations for stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
- Strong proficiency in testing methodologies, including test planning, test case design, and execution.
- Preferably, possess domain experience in the insurance sector, showcasing your understanding of insurance-specific testing requirements.
- Effective collaboration skills to work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze user stories, use cases, and requirements to create and execute accurate test cases.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify, document, and track defects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide valuable insights for process improvements.
- Effective communication skills to convey test results, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
