Position: Manual QA Engineer

Location: Bhilai and Indore

As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough manual testing and quality assurance practices. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct manual testing of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and user requirements.
  • Create and execute detailed test cases and test scripts to verify the functionality, usability, and performance of web and mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product owners, to understand project requirements and provide input on testing strategies.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies, and collaborate with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform thorough regression testing to validate software updates and bug fixes.
  • Develop and maintain testing documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
  • Adhere to Agile/Scrum methodologies and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other team meetings.
  • Conduct API testing, both manually and using automation tools, to ensure the accuracy and functionality of APIs.
  • Collaborate with the automation team to enhance and maintain automated test suites using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, and JMeter.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Manual QA Engineer.
  • Strong experience in manual testing, with a deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience in testing both web applications and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in creating detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum software development methodology.
  • Experience in API testing, both manual and automated (automation experience is a plus).
  • Good knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, JMeter, etc. (preferred, but not mandatory).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate issues and recommendations.
  • Good documentation skills to maintain accurate and organized testing documentation.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
  • ISTQB certification or other relevant certifications are a plus.
