Position: Manual QA Engineer (Test Engineer)
Job Description: As a Manual QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting manual tests to identify software defects and ensure that they are resolved before the products are released to our customers. You will collaborate closely with our development team, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver exceptional software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure product quality.
- Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and functional specifications.
- Identify, analyze, and document software defects, anomalies, and inconsistencies.
- Work closely with developers and project managers to resolve issues and ensure timely delivery of quality software.
- Participate in test planning, test case reviews, and test result discussions.
- Maintain and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Perform regression testing to ensure that software enhancements and bug fixes do not introduce new issues.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in manual testing.
- Provide timely and accurate status updates on assigned tasks and project progress.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives and suggest innovative ideas to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in manual QA testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in API testing, web testing, and mobile testing is preferred.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
