Job Description:

As a Lead Manual Tester with 9-12 years of experience, specializing in SAP testing, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP Test Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive SAP test strategy that aligns with project goals and business objectives.
Test Planning: Create detailed test plans, including test scope, objectives, resources, schedule, and deliverables.
Test Case Design: Design and document test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on SAP modules and business processes.
Test Execution: Execute manual tests on SAP systems to identify defects, verify functional and non-functional requirements, and ensure the overall quality of the SAP applications.
Defect Management: Identify, report, and prioritize defects found during testing, working closely with development teams to facilitate timely resolutions.
Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to ensure that SAP system updates and enhancements do not introduce new defects.
Test Automation: Collaborate with the automation testing team to identify opportunities for test automation and support the creation of automated test scripts.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
Team Leadership: Lead a team of manual testers, providing guidance, coaching, and mentoring to ensure the team’s effectiveness and professional development.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate test progress, results, and issues to project stakeholders, including project managers, business analysts, and developers.
SAP Expertise: Stay up-to-date with SAP technologies and best practices to provide expert guidance on SAP testing methodologies.
Process Improvement: Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
9-12 years of experience in manual testing, with a strong focus on SAP testing.
Extensive knowledge of SAP modules and configurations.
Proven experience in leading testing teams and managing complex SAP testing projects.
Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience with test management tools (e.g., HP ALM, JIRA).
SAP certification (optional but preferred).
Knowledge of test automation tools and methodologies (optional).
