Key Responsibilities:

As a Junior/Senior Manual Tester, you will be responsible for the following:

Junior Tester:

  1. Learning and Communication: Demonstrate a strong aptitude for learning and excellent English communication skills.
  2. Manual Testing: Utilize your 2-3 years of experience to perform manual testing for software projects. Develop a reasonable understanding of documenting Test Cases, Test Scenarios, bug reporting, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) concepts.
  3. Automation: Gain experience with programming and automated testing tools (beneficial).

Senior Tester:

  1. Manual Testing: Leverage your 5-6 years of experience to handle manual testing for software projects. Possess extensive knowledge of QA methodology, Test Case documentation, Test Scenario creation, and bug reporting.
  2. Automation: Have experience with automated testing tools.
  3. Agile-SCRUM: Be exposed to Agile-SCRUM methodologies and ideally have worked in Scrum teams.
  4. Communication: Possess reasonably good English communication skills and an aptitude for learning and analytics.
  5. Database and API Testing: Have exposure to Database Testing and API Testing (beneficial).
  6. Programming: Any programming experience would be an added benefit.

Qualifications:

Junior Tester:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in manual testing.
  3. Basic understanding of Test Case documentation, Test Scenario creation, bug reporting, SDLC, and STLC concepts.
  4. Experience with programming or automated testing tools is a plus.

Senior Tester:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5-6 years of experience in manual testing.
  3. Extensive knowledge of QA methodology, Test Case documentation, Test Scenario creation, and bug reporting.
  4. Experience with automated testing tools.
  5. Exposure to Agile-SCRUM methodologies and Scrum team experience.
  6. Good English communication skills and an aptitude for learning and analytics.
  7. Exposure to Database Testing and API Testing is beneficial.
  8. Programming experience is an added benefit.
