Position: Jr. Test Engineer
Location: Pune
mPHATEK Systems is currently hiring for the position of Jr. Test Engineer. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a minimum of 1 year of experience in Manual Testing and expertise in Azure Board. As a Jr. Test Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure overall product quality.
- Develop and execute test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand the project goals and requirements.
- Participate in the design and implementation of test plans and strategies for different software projects.
- Identify and report software defects, track them to closure, and perform regression testing to ensure fixes are implemented correctly.
- Document test results, generate test reports, and provide feedback to the development team for continuous improvement.
- Utilize Azure Board to track and manage test cases, bugs, and other testing-related activities.
- Collaborate with the automation testing team to identify areas where test automation can be applied effectively.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
Required Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Manual Testing is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Proficient in test case design, test execution, defect reporting, and test result analysis.
- Experience with Azure Board is essential for this role.
- Good knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle).
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated with the latest trends in software testing.
