Job Role:
As a JMeter/Performance Test Engineer at Purna Infotech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the performance and reliability of our Java-based web applications, both on-premises on Linux and on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your primary responsibilities will revolve around automating and executing performance tests using tools like JMeter.

- Performance Testing Automation: Design, develop, and automate performance tests using JMeter against our Java-based web application, ensuring compliance with specified requirements.
- Environment Management: Conduct performance testing on-premises on Linux as well as in the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring consistent and accurate results.
- Result Sharing: Compile and share comprehensive test results, including performance metrics and recommendations, with stakeholders and project teams.
- Test Tuning and Configuration: Rerun tests with different configurations or tunings to identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities for optimization.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and collaborate on performance testing strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools, with a focus on JMeter.
- Strong knowledge of Java-based web applications and Linux environments.
- Experience with performance testing on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
