IMS Testing Engineer | 4 to 10 years

Position: IMS Testing Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

1. Test Case Design: Design test cases for various applications on LTE/5G devices using Python to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
2. Python Automation Testing: Utilize Python for automation testing to enhance testing efficiency and accuracy.
3. Test Case Development and Execution: Develop and execute test cases using Python scripts, ensuring accurate and detailed test results.
4. IMS Testing: Conduct IMS, VoLTE, SMS, VT, and IMs service tests, perform log analysis, and troubleshoot issues.
5. Wireshark Analysis: Conduct UE audit using Wireshark based on UE PCAP logs, analyzing SIP messages for VoLTE KPIs.
6. Protocol and Timer Behavior Testing: Develop test cases to evaluate IMS stack behavior with different protocols and timers.
7. Certification Preparation: Prepare for Operator and conformance TA/GCF/PTCRB Certification to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Requirements:

1. Experience: A minimum of 4 to 10 years of experience as an IMS Testing Engineer.
2. Python Proficiency: Strong experience in using Python for automation testing and test case development.
3. IMS Testing: Proven expertise in IMS, VoLTE, SMS, VT, and IMs service testing, including log analysis and debugging.
4. Wireshark Skills: Familiarity with using Wireshark for analyzing UE PCAP logs and SIP messages for VoLTE KPIs.
5. Protocol Knowledge: Strong understanding of telecommunication protocols and timers for IMS stack testing.
6. Communication Skills: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
7. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues efficiently.
8. Certification Experience: Previous experience in preparing for Operator and conformance TA/GCF/PTCRB Certification is a plus.
