Position: Software Tester with Banking Domain

Location: Navi Mumbai

Job Overview: As a Software Tester with Banking Domain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will be responsible for conducting manual testing, developing and executing test scripts, and participating in the full software test life cycle. Your knowledge of the banking domain, along with your technical expertise, will contribute to the success of our projects.

Mandatory Profile:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in software testing.
• Strong computer science/IT background with a UG/PG degree.
• Preferably from the finance/banking services domain with relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in Selenium, Jira, and manual testing.
• Familiarity with SQL and banking domain concepts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Interact with product management and development teams to gain a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives.
• Coordinate between onshore and offshore teams to ensure effective collaboration.
• Troubleshoot and triage issues with different teams to identify root causes and facilitate resolutions.
• Design and create test conditions, test data, and test scripts to address business and technical use cases.
• Utilize existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and develop new scripts for testing and validation purposes.
• Develop and generate scripts for automated testing cycles using Selenium.
• Design, execute, and analyze automation test scripts and results for both web and windows-based applications.
• Document, track, and escalate issues using tools such as JIRA, VSTP, Java, and C#.
• Knowledge of any development language is a plus.
• Provide support during the production deployment of applications and perform validation/testing during off-hours maintenance windows.
• Possess relevant certifications, which are desirable in this role.
