Job Role:
We are seeking a skilled Functional Tester with expertise in the Insurance Domain to join our dynamic team in Chennai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in functional testing, proficiency in Java, Selenium, JavaScript, and experience in team handling.

Responsibilities:
As a Functional Tester at SAA Consulting, your responsibilities will include:
- Test Planning: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans that align with project objectives and requirements.
- Test Case Design: Create, review, and maintain test cases and test scripts, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
- Test Execution: Execute manual and automated test cases, analyze results, and report defects using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
- Regression Testing: Perform regression testing to validate software enhancements and ensure the stability of existing functionalities.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality testing deliverables.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in testing and quality assurance.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test cases, test execution results, and defect reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on the Insurance Domain.
- Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and tools.
- Proficiency in Java, Selenium, and JavaScript.
- Experience with RESTful API testing.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
