You will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests using Selenium or Cypress, JavaScript, and Java. - Develop and execute automated tests using Selenium or Cypress, JavaScript, and Java to validate the functionality and performance of our software applications.
- Participate in software development and test estimation to ensure automated testing is accounted for in planning or acceptance criteria.
- Actively participate in all team activities, including sprint planning/review meetings, feature design/story definition, daily scrum meetings, estimation discussions, and project reviews.
- Contribute to and evaluate your team’s Conditions of Satisfaction, Definition of Done, and Acceptance Criteria during planning and execution of work.
- Utilize knowledge of CI/CD concepts and automation pipeline tools like Jenkins to streamline the testing process.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members, sharing knowledge and solving problems as a cohesive unit.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the quality of the deliverables.
- Exhibit problem-solving skills and the ability to quickly pick up new technologies and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of overall experience in software testing.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in functional and automation testing, with hands-on experience in both web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in developing automated tests using Selenium or Cypress, JavaScript, and Java.
- Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with automation pipeline tools like Jenkins.
- Understanding of typical web application architecture, including data, application, and web tiers.
- Self-motivated, autonomous, and empathetic team player with excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Passion and dedication to writing highly reliable and efficient code.
