Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated and experienced Freelance Manual QA Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in manual testing. As a Freelance Manual QA Engineer at Code Vysya, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. This is a remote opportunity that allows you to work from the comfort of your own space while contributing to our projects.

- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of our software applications.
- Perform manual testing to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance issues in the software.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to understand project requirements and participate in requirement analysis and review meetings.
- Report and track defects using appropriate defect tracking tools and methodologies.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to verify fixes and ensure that defects have been successfully resolved.
- Participate in test planning and test strategy discussions to provide input on testability and potential risks.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on quality goals and testing efforts.
- Continuously monitor and document testing activities, including test execution results, test case coverage, and defect tracking.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.
- Ensure that software releases meet high-quality standards and are ready for deployment.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manual testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test case creation, and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with different testing types, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently in a remote work environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with remote teams.
- Experience with defect tracking tools and test management systems.
- Proficiency in remote work tools and communication platforms.
- ISTQB certification or relevant testing certifications are a plus.
