Position: Avaloq Tester

Job Summary: Synpulse is seeking experienced Avaloq Testers to join our team in Pune. As an Avaloq Tester, you will be responsible for testing and ensuring the quality of Avaloq-based applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Avaloq, both in manual and automation testing, and possess extensive experience in building high-performing and scalable enterprise-grade applications. Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual and automation testing of Avaloq-based applications to ensure functionality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts and developers, to understand requirements and design test cases and scenarios.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts, ensuring complete test coverage.
- Create and maintain test data, test environments, and test setups to replicate real-world scenarios.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on Avaloq applications.
- Identify, document, and track defects and work closely with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
- Utilize Avaloq tool for testing and validation, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of Avaloq applications with other systems.
- Contribute to test automation efforts by designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks and scripts.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and other quality-related activities to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide timely and accurate test status reports, test metrics, and other testing-related documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest Avaloq releases, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance testing processes.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior testers and team members as required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-12 years of professional experience in Avaloq testing.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Avaloq, with a focus on manual and automation testing.
- Proven experience in building high-performing, scalable, and enterprise-grade applications using Avaloq.
- In-depth understanding of Avaloq functionality, modules, and best practices.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Avaloq applications.
- Solid experience in functional, integration, regression, and performance testing of Avaloq applications.
- Strong knowledge of Avaloq tool and its usage for testing and validation.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, with strong scripting skills (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, etc.).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Notice period of 90 days (preferably 30-60 days).
