Position: Automation Tester/QA
Locations: Chennai, Bangalore, Mysore, Pune
Job Summary: As an Automation Tester/QA at Infosys, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand requirements and implement effective automation testing strategies. We are looking for skilled professionals with expertise in ETL testing, Selenium + Java automation testing, UFT automation testing, RPA automation testing, or Pega testing.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze software requirements and design test scenarios and test cases for automation.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using relevant automation tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated test scripts and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software components and facilitate effective test automation.
- Identify and prioritize test cases for automation based on risk analysis and business impact.
- Conduct performance testing using appropriate tools and techniques to ensure optimal system performance.
- Participate in test planning, estimation, and test strategy development activities.
- Continuously enhance and optimize automation frameworks and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of test progress, test coverage, and defect status.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in automation testing or QA.
- Strong expertise in at least one of the following areas:
- ETL testing
- Selenium + Java automation testing
- UFT automation testing
- RPA automation testing
- Pega testing
- Proficiency in designing and executing automated test scripts using relevant automation tools.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Experience in test planning, test case design, and test execution in an Agile environment.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts, SQL queries, and data validation.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
