Job Description:

The Mobile Test App + SQL Queries + API Tester will have the following responsibilities:

1. Web and Mobile Application Testing: Conduct thorough testing of web and mobile applications to ensure their functionality, usability, and performance meet the highest quality standards.
2. Complex Application Testing: Demonstrate the capability of handling and testing complex applications, showcasing expertise in managing intricate testing scenarios.
3. Project Architecture: Possess exceptional communication skills to provide detailed explanations of project architectures and the complexity of applications where the candidate has worked.
4. API Testing: Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI to validate the functionality and data integrity of APIs.
5. SQL Queries: Write complex SQL queries involving the joining of 2-3 tables to extract and manipulate data for testing purposes.
6. Triggers and Stored Procedures: Ability to understand and work with database triggers and stored procedures for database testing.
7. Automation Testing (Nice-to-have): Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks will be an advantage.
8. Unix/Linux Commands (Nice-to-have): Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands for troubleshooting and testing purposes.

Requirements:

1. Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA), Computer Science (B.Tech/BE), or a related field.
2. Experience: Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in web and mobile application testing, with a focus on complex application scenarios.
3. Mobile Application Testing: Strong experience in testing mobile applications on various platforms (iOS and Android) and devices.
4. API Testing: Proven expertise in API testing using tools like Postman or SOAP UI.
5. SQL Skills: Proficient in writing complex SQL queries, including joins and data manipulation.
6. Database Knowledge: Understanding of triggers and stored procedures for database testing.
7. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate project architectures and testing results.
8. Automation Testing (Nice-to-have): Familiarity with automation testing tools like Selenium or Appium will be a plus.
9. Unix/Linux Commands (Nice-to-have): Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands for testing and troubleshooting will be an advantage.
