Position: Agile Test Lead

Location: Noida/Remote

Job Description:

As an Agile Test Lead, you will be responsible for guiding and monitoring the analysis, design, implementation, and execution of test cases, test procedures, and test suites. You will collaborate closely with the development team and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Test Planning and Execution:

• Collaborate with the team to understand project requirements and develop a test strategy aligned with Agile principles.
• Design and execute test cases, ensuring proper coverage and traceability to requirements.
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover defects and usability issues.

2. Configuration Management:

• Ensure proper configuration management of test artifacts, including test plans, test cases, and test data.
• Maintain traceability between tests and requirements to establish a robust testing framework.

3. Test Environment Management:

• Set up and manage the test environment before and during test execution.
• Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve any issues or dependencies that may impact testing.

4. Test Progress Monitoring and Reporting:

• Monitor and measure test progress, product quality status, and test results.
• Adapt the test strategy as needed to accommodate changing conditions.
• Prepare and present summary reports on test status to stakeholders.

5. Automation Testing:

• Possess sound knowledge of automation testing tools and techniques.
• Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with the team to implement automated test scripts.
• Leverage Azure DevOps Test Suite/Reporting skills for efficient test management.

Required Skill Set:

• Strong testing experience, including manual testing and project management application testing knowledge.
• Proficiency in exploratory testing techniques.
• ISTQB Foundation certification or equivalent.
• Experience in the utilities industry and familiarity with operational processes.
• Azure DevOps skills, specifically in Test Suite/Reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with technical and business resources.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor the testing team.
