This opportunity is for a Software Engineer at FED Group at Cadence. The Cadence FED Group will offer you a dynamic environment in which you will work with innovative R&D & Customer Engagement teams to develop software tools for advanced chip design platforms.
You will be a member of an expert R&D team creating technologies and products that enable DFT, Hierarchal Tests, and ATPG of the most advanced custom digital and mixed-signal circuits built for communication, Automotive, IOT and AI markets. The requirement is for the industry leading DFT tool called Modus which is widely deployed & in production use on cutting edge semiconductor nodes across design houses. The candidate will also support RnD development tasks under Genus DFT Synthesis tool.

Enhancing and expanding the existing tools’ architecture for evolving requirements
Creating new frameworks and tool capabilities to support IEEE 1687, Low Power (1801 & CPF) and Hierarchal Test based technologies.
Be in charge of modeling and implementing various software modules written in different languages and utilities such C/C++, ANTLR, TCL/TK.

Industry experience developing and maintaining C/C++ based applications on a Unix or Linux environment
Experience in development of industry leading software tools.
Experience with quality and software processes
Proficiency designing data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
Knowledge of DFT, Hierarchal Tests, Low Power and IJTAG (1687) is desirable though not mandatory.
Graduate/Post Graduate in EC/ECE/CS/EE with 7-10 Years of experience
