Position: Lead Engineer – Investment Platform

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Acting as technical lead for the decommissioning program and working with outcome delivery managers, engineering lead, enterprise architecture, technology partners and other key stakeholders to help simplify the Investment Platform to become more efficient and scalable
• Lead the development of solutions end-to-end and see it through until it reaches the end customer. Sometimes this will encompass requirements gathering, analysis, planning, data modelling, data integration, and software engineering
• Develop scalable solutions for investment teams across multiple asset classes in an agile development environment
• Partnering with and assisting the Investment Plaform’s change and run teams to deliver their objectives
• Work across multiple disciplines across the Investment Platform and opportunities to connect and improve working practices
• Consistently identify improvement opportunities within the team and implements processes, ways of working or facilitate training to address improvement opportunities
• Works within established frameworks and procedures, with the freedom to interpret them to solve a range of problems
• Makes suggestions for improvements to the work of the team, based on previous experience and knowledge of similar situations
• Present the solution design in design forums to get approval for further rolling out your proposed solutions
