Position: Test Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to understand software requirements and design test plans and strategies accordingly.
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, and scenarios to ensure thorough test coverage.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure high-quality software.
- Conduct root cause analysis of defects and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Report and track defects using bug tracking systems and assist in their timely resolution.
- Continuously enhance and update test cases and test scripts to align with changing requirements.
- Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure a collaborative and effective testing process.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE, BTech, ME, MTech), Computer Science, or a related field.
- Freshers or individuals with relevant experience in software testing are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Experience in test case design, execution, and defect tracking.
- Knowledge of various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Experience with automation testing frameworks and tools is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
