Position: Junior QA Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, test planning, test case creation, execution, and defect management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to understand software requirements and develop comprehensive test strategies.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to verify the functionality, usability, performance, and security of software applications.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new features do not introduce any regressions in the software.
• Develop and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.

Requirements:

• Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Educational qualifications: BE, BTech, ME, MTech, BCA, MCA, BSc, or equivalent degrees in computer science or related fields.
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
• Familiarity with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python is desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate testing processes and results.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
