Key Responsibilities:

As a Software Tester in the Manual Testing team at Tagrem India, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements, create test plans, and develop test cases based on the software specifications.
  2. Manual Testing: Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects, bugs, and glitches, ensuring that the software meets quality standards before release.
  3. Bug Reporting: Clearly document and report identified issues using established bug tracking tools, providing accurate details to assist developers in resolving defects.
  4. Regression Testing: Execute regression tests to verify that previously identified defects have been resolved and that new code changes have not introduced new issues.
  5. Test Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of test cases, testing procedures, and test results for reference and future improvements.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and product managers, to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the development and testing process.
  7. Quality Assurance: Contribute to maintaining the quality assurance standards of the company by adhering to established testing methodologies and best practices.
  8. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in software testing techniques, tools, and methodologies, and apply them to enhance the testing process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields is preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing concepts, including test case creation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and an understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills to identify and document defects effectively.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • A passion for technology and a strong desire to learn and grow within the software testing field.
