Position: Quality Assurance Engineer

Hash Software Pvt. Ltd. is currently seeking two Quality Assurance Engineers to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. We are a software development company dedicated to delivering high-quality solutions to our clients. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through manual testing. Good communication skills and a strong background in manual testing are essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Hash Software Pvt. Ltd., your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Perform manual testing:
- Execute various test cases and scenarios to identify software defects.
- Verify that the software meets the specified requirements and quality standards.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing to ensure proper system functionality.
Create and maintain test documentation:
- Develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on software requirements and specifications.
- Update and maintain test documentation to reflect changes in software functionality.
Execute test cases and report defects:
- Execute test cases accurately and efficiently to identify defects and potential issues.
- Log and track defects using bug tracking tools and provide detailed reports to the development team.
Collaborate with the development team:
- Work closely with developers to communicate identified defects and provide necessary information for bug resolution.
- Participate in regular meetings and discussions to ensure effective communication and collaboration between teams.
Test environment setup and maintenance:
- Set up and maintain test environments to facilitate testing activities.
- Ensure the availability of necessary hardware and software configurations for testing purposes.
Continuous improvement:
- Continuously enhance testing processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in manual testing.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the role of Quality Assurance Engineer, you should meet the following qualifications:
- 3 months to 6 months of experience in manual testing.
- Strong knowledge of manual testing concepts and methodologies.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test management systems is a plus.
