Position: QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Participate in the software development life cycle, working closely with the development team to understand software requirements and design test plans accordingly.
- Develop and execute test cases to verify the functionality, usability, performance, and security of software applications.
- Perform manual testing and utilize automated testing tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that defects are fixed and new features do not introduce any regressions in the software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and product managers, to ensure clear communication and understanding of testing requirements.
- Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the QA team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
Requirements:
- Freshers with a strong passion for quality assurance and software testing.
- Educational qualifications: BE, BTech, ME, MTech, BCA, MCA, BSc, or equivalent degrees in computer science or related fields.
- Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with manual and automated testing techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of bug tracking systems and experience in defect management.
- Basic programming knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate testing processes and results.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions.
