Webomates, a leading technology company, is currently hiring freshers for the position of QA Automation Trainee. If you have a Bachelor’s degree and a passion for automation testing and web scraping, we invite you to join our team. As a QA Automation Trainee, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in Selenium Automation Testing and web scraping, and contribute to the development of automation scripts for our innovative projects.

Skill Set:

  1. Selenium Automation Testing: Knowledge of Selenium Automation Testing will be beneficial. We encourage candidates with basic familiarity or those who have completed training courses in Selenium to apply.
  2. Web Scraping: Familiarity with web scraping techniques and tools will be an added advantage. Candidates with an interest in data extraction from websites are encouraged to apply.
  3. Locators: Good knowledge of Locators such as XPath and CSS is desired. Understanding how to identify and interact with elements on web pages using these locators is crucial for automation testing.
  4. Script Development: Ability to design and develop automation scripts when needed. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in scripting and test automation.

Role Overview: As a QA Automation Trainee at Webomates, you will be part of our dynamic team and have the chance to learn and grow in the field of automation testing. Your responsibilities will include learning and applying Selenium Automation Testing and web scraping techniques to develop automation scripts. You will collaborate with experienced automation testers to understand project requirements and contribute to the testing process.

  1. Training and Learning: Participate in training sessions and learning programs to gain proficiency in Selenium Automation Testing and web scraping techniques.
  2. Script Development: Design and develop automation scripts under the guidance of senior automation testers.
  3. Testing Support: Assist the team in executing test cases and reporting defects when necessary.
  4. Collaborative Work: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the testing efforts.
  5. Skill Enhancement: Continuously improve your skills and knowledge in automation testing and web scraping through self-learning and training opportunities.

Required Skills:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree in any relevant field is required.
  2. Basic Automation Knowledge: Familiarity with automation testing concepts and tools, particularly Selenium, will be advantageous.
  3. Web Scraping Interest: Interest in web scraping techniques and data extraction from websites is a plus.
  4. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
